8 Tips for Traveling with Kids
Taking your kids with you for a vacation is something that you will have to deal with sooner or later. If this is your first time to fly with them, it is only understandable that you might be feeling apprehensive. In order to make the flight a lot more enjoyable and comfortable, here are some travel tips that you should heed:

- Bring Entertainment – whether a book or crayons, you should make sure that your kids remain entertained during the entire flight. Do not rely on the airline to provide you with materials to keep your kids busy.
- Go Before Boarding – ask your kids to go to the airport’s toilet before going ob the plane in order to avoid having to make several trips to the bathroom. Remember to bring baby wipes if you can not avoid going to the airplane’s toilet.
- Choose the Right Seats – there are seats whose armrest can be lifted and you should choose this so that your kids can lie on your lap if they feel sleepy.
- Bring Food – again, it is not smart to rely on the airline when it comes to food. Make sure you bring your kids snacks such as biscuits, crackers and juices in tetra pack.
- Dealing with Ear Pressure – in order to relieve pain due to pressure, you should give your kids their bottle during take off and landing. If they are no longer bottle-feeding, use earplugs
- Clear Rubbish – request for a plastic bag from the crew as soon as you settle on the airplane. Use this to maintain the cleanliness of your area. Dispose of diapers properly.
- Carry Change of Clothes – it is very important to bring with you extra shirt not only for your kids but also for yourself as well since you do not know what will happen during the flight.
- Check Heated Bottles – if you request for the baby bottles to be heated, check the liquid’s temperature before giving it to your child to make sure that they have the right temperature.
